About Rachel L. Greenberg
Often times people find themselves stuck in their approach to problems and interpersonal conflicts which become patterns difficult to break. Overall, I intend for therapy to help you learn new, healthy, and effective ways of approaching problems. Together we will work on creating an enhanced sense of balance and control in your life, in which you develop new insights and strategies to take on life's challenges. Therapy can focus on overall ways to connect you with yourself, your values, others in your life, and the experiences that bring you joy and fulfillment.
I have over 10 years as a therapist and have obtained two master's degrees and a doctoral degree. My experience includes schools, community mental health, health centers/hospitals, and private practice.
Areas of expertise: Health Psychology, Life Transitions, Interpersonal Conflict, Enhancing Mindful Communication, Grief, Depression, Anxiety/Panic, Trauma, Stress Management, Self-development, Behavioral Modification, Insomnia, ADHD Evaluation, Career Assessment.
My therapeutic approach is one in which we work collaboratively to connect you with the innate parts of yourself that are strong, resilient, and capable of overcoming hardship. With a relational approach and evidence-based interventions, I utilize the therapeutic space as a tool to facilitate healing and offer concrete skills and strategies to create the type of change you're seeking in yourself, relationships, and life. I offer a safe space to ensure you feel heard and understood while also challenging you to make the commitments necessary for self-transformation and growth.
